Description

The Atlas master N Scale Coalveyor Bathtub Gondola is based on cars built in the 1980’s by ACF. They can be found running in unit trains throughout the country to deliver coal to power plants. These cars were most often lettered for the utility companies that leased and/or purchased them. Many are still in service in the 2020s, mostly in scrap metal service. Coalveyors feature a diecast chassis, interior bracing, a removable coal load, 100-ton roller-bearing trucks, separate end ladders and Accumate couplers.
