Our Story

Our journey began long before we launched Denver Model Trains in early 2024. OJ has spent his entire career in the railroad industry, and his love for HO scale model trains dates back to childhood. Annie, with a background in accounting and business operations, joined the hobby a few years ago after discovering N Scale modeling. What started as a personal hobby soon became a shared dream—to build a business centered around something we genuinely love.

Who We Are

OJ is the face of our operations, providing technical support to customers and hosting frequent TikTok live shows under the handle @BigBoysTrainToys. He enjoys sharing products, layout ideas, modeling tips, and a healthy dose of railroad enthusiasm. When he's not packing orders or creating content, he's often on the phone talking with fellow modelers—many of whom have become great friends along the way.

Annie keeps everything running behind the scenes. From inventory management and order fulfillment to bookkeeping and business operations, she makes sure the trains stay on the rails—despite OJ's regular efforts to derail her. She also shares updates from her N Scale layout on social media as @AnniesNScale.
