A Limited Edition Rapido Trains GE C30-7 Locomotive painted for freelance model railroad Virginian and Ohio!
The GE C30-7 by Rapido Trains is the very first Home Shops locomotive offering! We worked very closely with Brad and Brady McClelland on this historic Virginian and Ohio project. You can now add V&O motive power to your collection to pull your freelance rolling stock!
The legendary Virginian and Ohio is the well known freelance model railroad created by Allen McClelland. It requires very little introduction as it has been published in many places over the decades.
The late CSX version was selected as the core model for the Home Shops Virginian and Ohio locomotive as the simple details are in-line with what Allen's vision of a V&O Locomotive would have been.
This small-batch factory-painted locomotive is available in three road numbers, each in both DC/DCC/Sound and DC/Silent versions.
