Atlas brings the impressive modern Gunderson Multi-Max to HO scale with an all-new flat car and superstructure, newly tooled trucks, detailed side screens, and multiple body variations designed to reproduce differences found among the prototypes. The Gunderson Multi-Max
Introduced by Greenbrier Companies in 2013, the 89' Multi-Max was designed to provide greater flexibility for automotive transportation. Its innovative rack design allows the car to be changed between Bi-Level and Tri-Level configurations without requiring decks to be added or removed.
Multi-Max racks are fully compatible with existing 89' auto racks, and most have been constructed on Greenbrier's specially designed 89' flat cars. With thousands of these cars operating across North America, they have become a familiar part of the modern freight scene and can be found mixed with other autoracks or operating in solid automotive trains.
