Product Overview

Broadway Limited Imports brings one of Union Pacific's most recognizable heritage passenger cars to N scale with the Kenefick Business Car. Originally constructed by American Car & Foundry in 1950 as Union Pacific Coach No. 5446, the car was rebuilt into Business Car No. 99 in 1963 for service in the railroad's executive fleet.

In 1988, the car was renamed Kenefick in honor of John C. Kenefick, who served as Union Pacific's Chairman and CEO and played an important role in the railroad's modernization and expansion.

The Kenefick has since become a familiar part of Union Pacific's Heritage Fleet, appearing on executive specials, public excursions, and high-profile events. It traveled behind Big Boy No. 4014 during the locomotive's celebrated 2019 tour and served as the rear car on President George H.W. Bush's funeral train. Whether you're assembling a Union Pacific heritage consist, recreating a Big Boy excursion train, or simply collecting distinctive passenger equipment, the Kenefick makes an impressive finishing car.
