Product Overview

Bring BNSF Railway GE ES44AC #250 to your N scale railroad with Broadway Limited Imports’ 2027 production. This America250 Series locomotive features road-specific detailing and an accurately rendered paint scheme, offered in the Stealth no-sound, DCC-ready configuration.

Part of General Electric’s Evolution Series, the ES44AC is a six-axle diesel-electric locomotive powered by a 12-cylinder, 4,400-horsepower engine. Commonly known as a GEVO, the ES44AC became one of GE’s most successful locomotive designs, with nearly 8,000 units produced and service extending beyond North America.

This model represents BNSF Railway #250 in the America250 Series paint scheme. The Stealth version runs on DC out of the box, is DCC-ready, and includes an installed 8-ohm speaker for a future DCC/sound decoder.
