Product Overview

Built in the United States between 2004 and 2014, the EMD SD70ACe was introduced as the successor to the SD70MAC. Designed around increasingly stringent emissions requirements, the locomotive combined substantial horsepower and tractive effort with a redesigned underframe, revised sheet metal, and a distinctive modern cab.

Broadway Limited's N scale SD70ACe captures the many prototype variations found throughout the fleet, including differences in headlight placement, isolated and non-isolated cabs, sunshades, brake wheels, cab roofs, and blower vent layouts.

The Stealth Series is designed for modelers who prefer to select their own electronics. The locomotive is DCC-Ready with no factory sound, while an 8-ohm speaker is already installed to simplify conversion to a compatible Next18 aftermarket DCC/Sound decoder.
