This InterMountain GE ES44AC decorated for Ferrosur #4710 is a pre-owned HO Scale locomotive from the store owner's personal collection. The GE Evolution Series ES44AC became one of the most successful freight locomotives in North American history, combining 4,400 horsepower with exceptional fuel efficiency, reduced emissions, and outstanding reliability. Introduced in 2005, the ES44AC quickly became the standard road locomotive for nearly every Class I railroad while also finding success with regional railroads and international operators.

The Evolution Series was recognized by Trains Magazine as one of the "10 Locomotives That Changed Railroading," making it the only locomotive introduced after 1972 to earn that distinction. This model faithfully reproduces the prototype with road-specific detailing and is equipped with an ESU LokPilot DCC decoder for smooth, reliable operation.
