This Kato EMD SD70M with flat radiators is based on units in service from coast to coast since the 1990s. It features flat rear radiators used on earlier-production units. This ready-to-run, standard DC diesel features a five-pole motor with dual flywheels, directional LED headlights, highly detailed body, great decoration and Kato knuckle couplers. These locomotives will be at home on the head end of your railroad's 1990s and later freight consists. This standard DC unit features a lighting control board that can be swapped for a DCC decoder when you're ready (available separately).
