The WalthersMainline 50' PS4000 High-Side Gondola is a great addition to your 1970s to 2010s coal-hauling car fleet. Built during the 1970s coal boom, a variety of railroads and power companies ordered fleets of these cars. They were used in unit coal trains as well as in large multi-car cuts. While designed for hauling coal, many have gone into service hauling scrap metal. The WalthersMainline model is a replica of these prototypes and features:
