I have been wanting to get one of these for a while I have a few different older rolling stock that I am converting and like that now I can try a few different types with out have to track down what I need the service was great thanks for what you do keep it going

I really like the detail and performance of this engine. Under DCC it can handle extremely slow speeds without stalling. The built in sounds along with the Paragon 4 system are very nice as well. I have smoke fluid on hand, but have not tried out the smoke system yet. The engine comes with a very cheap plastic bulb for filling the smoke fluid and there are no measurement markings. Given that BLI sells a graduated syringe for this purpose, it would have been nice to have the higher quality syringe included. Also, the engine is large enough that it is difficult to get all the wheels properly seated on the track without a railer/re-railer. I do not have one in n-scale and found that I nearly always have at least one wheel not quite right and after a few circuits around the track it derails. These are not criticisms of the engine; nitpicks really.

No product review would be complete without mentioning that Denver Model Trains is great to work with. I check with them first for any purchase.

I just want to say thank you to OJ and Annie at Denver Model Trains. I purchased an ESU Loksound 5 next 18 decoder. Not only was it in stock, but also a good price. What I like most about Denve Model Trains is their customer service. I don't live to far from their location and OJ has meet me in my town to deliver my purchases. If you a hobby store that sellsgood products at fair prices, at can't recommend Denver Model high enough. My hats off to OJ and Annie . Thank you so much.
